Octane and Experian collaborate to accelerate AI innovation in Orange County
OC Innovation Week 2025 – 4L Data Intelligence CEO and Octane board member Clay Wilemon joined Octane CEO Bill Carpou and Experian Chief Innovation Officer Kathleen Peters to announce the new AI Innovation Hub during the Octane Technology Innovation Forum (TIF).
Accelerating Orange County Strengths as a National AI Leader
Leaders from Octane and Experian introduced the new AI Innovation Hub and explained that investing in The Hub is logical given Orange County’s recognized strength in artificial intelligence across med-tech, cybersecurity, defense, aerospace, and fintech. In fact, Orange County, CA is recognized as one of the top five areas in the United States for artificial intelligence innovation according to various industry sources.
Octane, the non-profit technology and med-tech innovation accelerator, and Experian, one of the world’s leading information companies, recognized the opportunity to join forces to increase the pace of AI innovation and commercialization. Kathleen Peters pointed out that Orange County is home to a number of vital technology clusters, all of which will leverage the innovation energy created by the AI Innovation Hub to the benefit of the entire region.
AI Impact on Healthcare Program & Payment Integrity
4L Data Intelligence CEO, Clay Wilemon, pointed out the role that artificial intelligence is already playing with the company’s patented Integr8 AI Risk Detection™ technology to reduce cost and improve systemwide integrity across health plans, self-insured companies, CMS programs, and other insurances.
